Synopsis

Batgirl stops a group of kids who are killing rats for fun. While most of the kids run away scared, one boy named Tim stays to ask Batgirl for help because his father is robbing the Gotham Federal Bank tonight.   Inside the bank, one of the seven robbers named Jake accidentally shoots a security guard. A man called Chaco shoots a member of the group who tried to smuggle out some jewelry in spite of their agreement to take only money, which is less traceable. Jake flees the scene, but two of his partners follow him right into a dead end where Batgirl stops them from killing Jake.   Jake tells Batgirl that he wants to turn himself in. Batgirl believes he is Tim's father and asks that will mean for his son, but Jake corrects her: Tim is Chaco's kid. Batgirl goes into the bank to stop the robbers, giving Chaco a serious beating. Tim watches as the robbers, including his father are escorted out of the bank, and Batgirl assures him that his father might be a bad person but he is not.
